Welcome!
Hello! I'm Byron Bishop, currently a junior at Southern Utah University specializing in Cyber Security. Though
originally from Sublimity, Oregon, I've had quite a journey that led me here, including two years of college
in Minnesota where I played college football. My passion for the game is matched by my interest in technology,
leading me to make a significant shift both in my location and my academic focus. After realizing that I
needed a change, I transferred to Southern Utah University, where I am now fully immersed in the world of
cyber security. This field fascinates me because it blends the challenge of constant learning with the
excitement of addressing real-world security threats.
Professional Path
As of now, my resume might seem modest, but I am eager to fill it with experiences that both challenge me and
contribute to my growth in this dynamic field. I have secured an internship with Oregon's Department of
Corrections for the summer of 2024, where I look forward to applying my knowledge and gaining hands-on
experience in cyber security practices.
Looking Ahead
I'm committed to advancing my expertise and contributing to the field of cyber security. Through my education
and upcoming professional experiences, I aim to develop a robust skill set that will prepare me for a
successful career in protecting digital environments.
Thank you for visiting my site! Whether you're a fellow student, potential employer, or just passing by, I
hope you find this glimpse into my journey insightful.
